As per usual, I have more going on than I really have time for. However, my goal for 2017 is to be more creative. Hopefully that will manifest itself in many ways such as drawing and photography, but I am also really excited to try some new things. I recently bought some brushes, paints, canvases and a wood burner, and I borrowed some wood carving tools so I have lots of new things to attempt. I just got some wood and leather scraps from my folks' and cannot wait to play around and start experimenting! I also found up some of my old design/pattern books so I may try to do something with those too. Really excited for this year! I am really hop

Feeling frustrated. Days turned into weeks turned into months and I have not created anything. Feeling really uninspired and uncreative at the moment. Part of it was certainly a lack of time, I always find too many things to fill mine with, but part of it is just a feeling of meh.

I think the biggest hindrance I run into with sharing anything I do is quantity. Today, I went to the zoo. I got some phenomenal shots as well as some bad ones. In total I took 1,509 photos. (Yeah....that's pretty typical for me. One reason I love digital). Spent a few hours going through them to select the shots I liked and thought were worth sharing. I'm down to 458.....That is still a lot. So I either overshare, or spend more time trying to narrow down my favorites which may only knock another 50 off. Sigh. But I love taking photos...I can't help that I'm the only one that wants to sit and look through all of them. =)
